I am an environmentalist and illustrator/writer currently based in the UK. In January 2018 I finished studying a Master’s in Children’s Book Illustration at Anglia Ruskin University.

I have worked in the wildlife conservation sector since graduating with a BSc in Ecology in 2011. My love for the natural environment is something that underpins and drives my creative work, although I enjoy exploring a diversity of other subjects too. I firmly believe in the power of storytelling as a way of engaging and uniting people for a common cause.

I’m lucky to have lived in different places and travelled a bit. I’m inspired by so much of what I have seen of the world so far, but particular standouts were New Zealand, the Isles of Scilly, the Highlands of Scotland and a tiny Welsh island called Flat Holm.

Throughout the course of my Master’s I discovered a love for digital illustration using bold colours and block shapes. I will update my website shortly to show you what I produced for my final project!
